After the first meeting, Adrian Estergaard and Cherise Craney went downtown to the CMHC offices to meet with Fleuri Perron and seek help with financing the repairs to the co-op.
CMHC wanted to help with the roofing repair by getting BC Housing to scope the work and then help secure funding through a 2nd mortgage or maybe the Stabilization Fund. Fleuri also mentioned that the co-op mortgage could be extended by 5 years to reduce payments and enable more borrowing/financing power.
Fleuri promised to get BC Housing involved to get a proper Scope of Work prepared for the roofing and to contact Dennis Carr at the City of Vancouver to help us secure funding.
